CNC Lathe & Turning Machining


​Lathe & Turning is a machining process we use here at Resource Machining & MFG – A CNC lathe machine is designed to precisely machine hard materials. It rotates the work-piece on its axis to be able to perform operations like cutting, knurling, drilling, facing, turning, with our exceptional choice of tools to create an object. The lathe machines that we have here at RM&M have 8inch chucks & our Swiss Lathe has a 32mm chuck.

CNC Milling Machining


​Milling is the main machining process used here at Resource Machining & MFG. Here at RM&M, we have 5 CNC milling machines that are operated with cutting tools that are programmed and managed CNC systems to accurately remove materials from a work piece. A CNC Milling Machine uses a rotating cylindrical cutter to move along multiple axes, and create slots, holes and details in material to turn it into varies parts for all the industries we serve.

CNC Swiss Machining

 
​Resource Machining & MFG added our Swiss Lathe fairly recently, in 2022. A Swiss CNC machine—also known as a Swiss type lathe or a Swiss automatic lathe—is a modern precision manufacturing machine that can produce extremely small parts quickly and accurately. Unlike traditional CNC lathe machines where the work piece stays stationary & the tools move, a Swiss-type turning center allows the part to move in the Z-axis, while the tool is stationary. Not only is this process more cost effective, but it also allows for increased precision! **RM&M is planning on adding another Swiss Lathe very soon!**
